Heritage is at the heart of St Andrew’s College and is our greatest gift. Everywhere on campus we are reminded of generations of Andreans who have gone before us, leaving a richness of tradition, resources, and community that is second to none. For generations, these iconic buildings have shaped the daily lives of Andreans and stood as enduring symbols of tradition, excellence, and belonging. Preserving them is not only an act of stewardship, but a responsibility to past, present, and future Andreans.
Many of our most treasured buildings are now more than a century old. While they continue to serve our community with grace and purpose, they require expert care and restoration to remain safe, functional, and beautiful. The 175 Campaign seeks to safeguard the architectural treasures that define our identity, while reimagining their role in modern campus life.
Heritage at St Andrew’s College is not a memory, it is a living, breathing part of every boy’s journey. A new central hub will become both a symbolic and functional anchor, honouring the legacy of the past while shaping the future of College.
Transforming the Drill Hall into a welcoming and prominent arrival space that reflects the school’s heritage. Sensitive architectural interventions will integrate it into daily school life, creating a living museum housing the re-curated ARC collection, armoury, and pipe room, while also serving as a multi- purpose venue for parents, students, and performances.
Reimagining the Cory Block as a larger, more dynamic facility featuring a world- class academic space and a central hub for staff administration and collaboration. This revitalised centre will enhance teaching, learning, and professional development across College.
The much-loved tuck shop and boys’ social
space will be retained and thoughtfully
integrated into the new design, preserving
familiarity while creating inviting, modern
areas that strengthen student life and
community on campus.
