A significant milestone has been reached

A significant milestone has been reached in the development of College’s sporting facilities, with construction of the new Indoor Cricket Centre now complete.

This week, the facility welcomed its first test balls as the playing surface and equipment underwent final testing and commissioning, marking the transition from construction to readiness. While the official opening is still to come, this moment represents the culmination of years of planning, generosity and commitment to the future of cricket at College.

The Indoor Cricket Centre is one of the first major projects to be realised as part of College’s Campus Masterplan and the 175 Campaign, laying the groundwork for Vision 2055, our long-term commitment to ensuring that future generations of Andreans continue to benefit from world-class facilities and opportunities.

Designed to support year-round training, regardless of weather conditions, the facility will significantly enhance the development of cricketers across all age groups. It provides a professional training environment that will strengthen individual skills, improve team preparation and further reinforce College’s proud cricketing tradition.

More than simply a new building, the Indoor Cricket Centre represents a lasting investment in our boys, our cricket programme and the enduring pursuit of excellence that has characterised College for generations. It stands as a testament to what can be achieved through the generosity and vision of the College community.

The official opening of this outstanding new facility will take place in the coming weeks, when the College community will gather to celebrate the beginning of an exciting new chapter for College cricket.
